This compilation contains works dating from the early 1980s (“Nexus” when Jeffrey Kaufman was Music Director for Woodstock Festival superstar Richie Havens), to the most recent “Emily Dickinson Four Songs of Nature” 2018. His eclectic style has always been independent of any current trend. And in his vocal writing, he has always been guided and true to his sense of the underlying nature, meaning and style of the texts.
